McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary is set on 8 acres, and you will find this retreat at 12943 61st Street North. The white tigers are the main draw, and there are plenty of other animals there, too, more than 200. People say that the wildlife sanctuary is quite exotic and is a heartwarming experience. As you can well imagine, it is an attraction the entire family will love.
Henry Morrison Flagler Museum, The Society of the Four Arts and Lake Trail are three other major attractions. Then there is a place called the Manatee Lagoon. West Palm Beach is one of the best and most affluent areas of Palm Beach County. The entire county is one that is quite the tropical paradise. As you can imagine, there are serious efforts to keep all communities of the county clean. There is a saying: Keep Palm Beach County beautiful. That might seem like an easy thing to do, but the officials and residents work hard to make it happen.
They work together to clean up the communities, and that includes the roadways, community areas, parks, gardens, beaches, and more. The growing health and cleanliness concern in West Palm Beach is the mold outbreak because of the higher rates of humidity from global warming. This may seem like it isn’t a big deal, but mold growing on your park’s benches, playground equipment, gates and more leaves you in a place where it can certainly effect your, and your family’s, health. Mold removal is a big cost and a good amount of taxpayer dollars goes towards it in our community because we need it. People are encouraged to volunteer to keep everything cleaned up and beautiful. It’s all about a better quality of life. It’s easier for people to work towards that resolve when they are already living in such a beautiful place. That’s not to say it’s easy, however, but it helps inspire people to keep everything looking good.
For sure, there are community efforts to clean up less glamorous neighborhoods throughout Florida and the rest of the country, too. It just helps when you have so many people already working together to keep everything clean. It requires a combination of factors. I live in a beautiful oceanside city. While it is paradise here, there is also a large problem on the streets. The city currently has a difficult time coming together to do something about it.
There are many reasons why things are the way they are in certain places. I think economics surely plays a big part. It’s easier to be a good steward of the city and neighborhood you live in when economics are good. That doesn’t mean that economics is where the responsibility lies. We are all responsible for the part we play in keeping our communities clean. We are all imperfect people, however, and so it’s not always easy to work together as a community to keep a city clean.
